Weddings &

Corporate Gigs

Sásta have plenty of experience in performing at Weddings & Formal events. Sometimes we are asked to play acoustic at the garden party/drinks part of the event as background music, and more often, we play as the main band at the reception. Sásta can play all of your favourite Irish songs from The Dubliners, Christy Moore,The Pogues,The Saw Doctors etc. as well as modern covers and some originals. Though we are an Irish band, we are very adaptable and we are well able to play some pop & rock hits (Paul Kelly, The Angels, The Church, Mumford & Sons.... we've even been known to play Irish versions of Michael Jackson & Guns 'n Roses!) that everyone knows, as well as our trademark Irish tunes & songs. We liase with the Venue manager, turn up in plenty of time & will arrive with all necessary Sound equipment, leaving you with nothing to worry about , but dancing & having a great time!

Have a read of some testimonials below!

Sorry for the delay in writing! We've been busy since getting back to normal life again!  Just a quick note to express our thank you for such a wonderful job you, Joe and Rocky did at our wedding on April 5.  The day was amazing, everything went according to plan.  People have been commenting how great the music was.  One of our highlights was coming back from our photos and finding you guys sat playing music in the middle of everyone in the garden!  Thats exactly how we imagined it.  So thanks again.  We'll be in to see you at one of the gigs soon.  I've attached a pic of the aforementioned garden scene!

To The boys of Sásta , your entertainment was wonderful at our event at Hillstone St.Lucia yesterday , our crowd of over 200 thoroughly enjoyed your innovative style and delivery. It was great to work with you and we hope to do so again.

Hey, just writing to say a BIG 'thanks' for the wonderful music and craic at our wedding on 4th August in Finbars, Maleny. You did a great job that has helped add to our memories of our special day. Thanks for being part of it and the lovely card too :)

Sásta were a great bonus to our travel agents’ workshop on Ireland – this group of talented musicians played traditional classics and modern music with an Irish slant. The group really contributed to a great atmosphere and the enjoyment of our guests, who were there to learn and update their knowledge of Ireland.  So, to hear fabulous music was an added bonus and subsequently, at the end of the night, they stayed and demanded an encore from the band – who happily obliged!  I’d have no hesitation in recommending Sásta for your function – party, wedding or corporate function.

- Diane Butler, Manager Tourism Ireland Australia & New Zealand

Sásta played at our daughter Christine 's wedding to Andrew. They were a joy to deal with and an absolute pleasure to listen to. I have lost count of the number of guests who came up to me to say how brilliant the band was. The dance floor was packed all evening. If you are looking for a fabulous, fun and friendly band to provide music for ANY party, you would be mad to pass up these guys. And you don't have to be Irish to appreciate the talent. Just ask the Aussies, Scottish, English and Americans who attended. These guys made everyone smile. Thank you Sásta!!!!!!

- Love from Magnetic Island wedding guests with very sore feet!!

We can not thank Sasta enough for being the highlight of our wedding celebrations last Saturday. We had family and friends to help us celebrate our nuptials. We had THE best night of our lives. From the 80 year olds to the 3 year olds...we could not keep our feet still. We loved you. Please thank all the boys in the band. BEST CRAIC EVER

They were a pleasure to deal with leading up to the wedding and very professional. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone! ‪

These guys are incredibly talented musicians, the best wedding fun ever! I want to plan an anniversary party already !!!

Hi Mick
The whole night went in a flash, I don't think there was a single tune where the dance floor wasn't pumping. Thanks for creating a great atmosphere !
